DATA COLLECTION – When you make a donation, request information via our online form, or subscribe to our mailing list, you are giving The Samaritan Foundation permission to collect some of your personal information. Personal information may include name, postal address, email address and telephone number. We take precautions to protect your information. We use this information to process your payment.
USE OF DATA – We use the information collected through this website to facilitate donation collection and processing, to provide annual tax receipts and to communicate news updates to our donors and other registered charities. We will retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying CRA, accounting or legal requirements.
DONATION AND CREDIT CARD INFORMATION – If you make an online donation, we won’t store your credit card information. Instead, it is collected and processed by our third-party service provider Donor Perfect, which either processes your single gift or stores your data to be processed each month.
DATA SECURITY – Personal information collected by The Samaritan Foundation is held in the strictest confidence. We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information using physical, electronic and procedural security measures and access to this data is limited to authorized employees and contractors who require the information to provide the services requested.
Terms/Conditions
By submitting your payment, you authorize us to charge the account above for the amount specified in the Transaction Amount field. Account information for Recurring Pledges/Monthly Giving is encrypted and stored securely via SafeSave™ for automatic processing of your future payments. Notify us at anytime if you wish to discontinue your pledge.
