Come and volunteer with us in the Dominican Republic!
We are so thankful for our many volunteers who travel to Sosua and
Puerto Plata each year to help serve the poor in our communities.

Trip FAQs
What does a typical trip look like?
Each trip combines hands-on work with meaningful ministry. Teams typically assist with home construction and take part in outreach activities such as leading children’s programs, serving meals in villages, or visiting the local hospital.

Every schedule is customized to fit your team’s interests and abilities, providing meaningful opportunities to build relationships and grow together.
Do I need any experience to join a trip?
No experience is required. Our team on the ground will guide you through everything you need to know, whether you are helping with construction or participating in outreach activities.

A willingness to serve, learn, and work together as a team is what matters most.
Where will we stay during the trip?
Teams typically stay in local hotels or a Christian guest house in Sosúa. Accommodations are clean and comfortable, providing a place to rest after each day of serving.

Our team on the ground provides daily transportation to all work sites and ministry locations, ensuring a smooth and well-organized experience. Additional details about accommodations can be provided upon request.
What is included in the cost of the trip?
The trip cost includes daily transportation to work sites and ministry locations, translators, and daily ice, water, and lunch. It also includes your team’s contribution toward a building project, helping provide or improve homes for families in the communities we serve.

Travel to the Dominican Republic and accommodations are arranged separately, and we are happy to provide guidance if needed.

How long is a typical trip?
Most teams come for one week, with the majority of the time spent serving in ministry and work activities. Teams may also choose to include an afternoon or half-day excursion during the week to rest and experience the local area.

While most trips are one week, we are happy to work with your team if you are interested in staying longer.
Who typically comes on a trip?
Most participants come as part of a team, often through a church, school, or other organized group.

If you are not currently part of a group but are interested in joining a team, we encourage you to reach out to us. We would be happy to help connect you with an existing group or explore ways for you to get involved.
